Key Information for Potential Guests

Our ideal guests are:

  • Talent Management Leaders who are making an impact in their organizations and whose responsibilities include the development and growth of employees
    • These guests may lead HR, People and Culture, OD, L&D, Talent)  
    • These guests may include Stakeholder leaders (occasional guests) from IT, Sales, Operations, etc - to bring the stakeholder perspective
  • Open to discussing actual successes and lessons learned from their experience in our field from a very practical - not theoretical - point of view
  • Willing and able to:
    • promote their episode to their network to help more listeners discover the show
    • provide guest referrals
    • post a written review of the show

It's available on Apple, Spotify, Google and several other platforms

Our listeners are HR/Talent Management leaders who are hungry to learn from their peers and hear about real-life examples of successful talent projects so they can create and implement their own strategies with greater ease.

Informal and conversational;  please listen to one or two guest episodes so you get a feel for the flow of the conversation.

The show is professonallly produced - edits are made to remove any coughs or bloopers.  We record in audio AND video on Zoom.   You are asked to have a WIRED headset for best sound quality.

Please have a WIRED headset for best sound quality.   (it is not a dealbreaker if you don't have these - it's simply to make it a better listening experience for people)

Sample questions include: 

  • Tell us about your career journey and what you do in your current role.
  • What's your most important project right now? 
  • What is the Talent (employee experience)  initiative you are most proud of?
  • What is the biggest challenge for you right now?
  • What is the biggest opportunity for Talent Leaders today?
  • What is a key lesson you've learned over your years in our field?
 NOTE that Lisa customizes questions to each individual guest based on the planning conversations in the pre call and before hitting record.   The above questions are examples only. The show's style is based on conversation and dialogue - not a rapid-fire interview.

YES!  Simply tell me when we record if you need an audio or written transcript so that we can schedule your episode with enough time to get the go-ahead.

That depends on how many people book their recording in any given month.  Usually your episode will air within one to three months of the recording.   We will send you the confirmed date, show notes and social media post about a week before the go-live date.

Here's what is involved:

  • REVIEW the preparation email and sample questions that we will send you once you book - 3 minutes
  • PREPARE a few examples of projects or lessons learned that you'd like to showcase - 15 minutes
  • ATTEND our one-hour recording slot -1 hour
    • Tell me at the beginning of our call if there is a particular project you want to highlight, or questions you aren't comfortable with OR prefer I lead with
  • INTRODUCE me to one or two of your colleagues who might be open to being a future guest - 3 minutes
  • Actively PROMOTE the episode on the day it goes live (we will tag you in Linkedin) - 2 minutes
  • Post a written REVIEW (ideally 5*) of the show - 2 minutes
